Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 on an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who would become Comaneci's coach later in life, discovered her at age six. She first competed at the championships for juniors from Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. At her first international event, which was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition that was open to countries of the communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975 she was awarded the All-around Junior Champion. She won four gold and one silver in her senior debut international competition which took place in the year 1975. This was her first time she participated as an adult. In 1976, she became the world's first woman to utilize a reversed double salto in order to take off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The story of Carol Wayne into the realm of entertainment began in her teens. Along with her sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a American citizen who was born on September 6 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career when she was in her teenage years. At the age of a girl she was the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. The show featured dramatic ice skating shows.
